Chloe was the first person to ever choose Molly's Gift to fundraise for. She set herself the challenge of a half marathon and smashed it.
I have never run a half marathon before, so this will certainly be a challenge! However, I hope that through this we can raise some money for a truly great cause in memory of a truly wonderful person.
Adam is a long-time supporter of the charity who always gets involved in our challenges. In 2022 he ran the Edinburgh Marathon for Molly's Gift.
Having been inspired by Molly's Gift January challenge, I kept my training up and made the rash decision of signing up to the Edinburgh marathon!
Rachael raised an outstanding amount for Molly's Gift by walking the entire perimeter of the Isle of Wight and we are so, so proud of her.
Undoubtedly the most challenging thing, mentally and physically, that I've ever done. At 38km I was suffering from dehydration and sickness, worried they wouldn't let me continue, but with the medic's brilliant care I was able to carry on! The beautiful scenery and amount of money raised also kept me going & it was a huge sense of achievement!
Five incredible people ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Molly's Gift in 2024, smashing their fundraising targets between them. Chloe, Akeem and Kev had never run more than 10km before taking on a half marathon was a huge step up. Andrew hadn't run a half marathon in years. Steve picked up an injury but turned up and walked it anyway, he'll be back in 2025 to run it properly. Ten more fundraisers took on the same race for Molly's Gift in 2025.
